Arranging home care for someone you love shouldn’t mean guessing.
Here’s exactly how it works.
The problem, stated plainly
Trust without verification isn’t protection. It’s often the opening.
Finding trustworthy home care today usually means one of two things: calling an agency and hoping the person they send is who they say they are, or asking around and hiring someone with no real way to verify their background or what actually happens during a visit.
Most families never find out anything is wrong until it already has. Nationally, seniors lose an estimated $28.3 billion a year to financial exploitation — and 72% of that harm comes from someone the senior already knew and trusted: a family member, a caregiver, or a close acquaintance. When the person responsible is a stranger, the average loss is around $17,000. When it’s someone the senior knew, that number rises to $50,000 — and it is also the harm least likely to be reported.

How it actually works
Four steps, and nothing is assumed.
Tell us what your family needs.
Type of care, schedule, and any specific preferences. Takes a few minutes.
Review available caregivers.
You see each caregiver’s experience, availability, and verification status — identity and background check, each with the date it was checked — before you commit to anything. The choice is yours.
Every visit is confirmed, not assumed.
Arrival, departure, and confirmation the visit stayed within the care you agreed to — recorded automatically, shared with you, no phone calls needed to check.
Review, rebook, or raise a concern.
Keep working with a caregiver you trust, or tell us directly if something feels off. Reports are reviewed and acted on — a caregiver can be paused from future visits immediately while we look into it.
What you can see, at any time
You don’t have to ask and hope.
Unlike a phone call to an agency, you don’t have to ask and hope. For every visit, you can see:
- Confirmation of the caregiver’s identity and verification status
- When they arrived and when they left
- Confirmation the visit stayed within the care that was agreed on
- Any notes shared from the visit

If something ever feels wrong
A clear path, before you ever need one.
Report a concern
You can report a concern about any caregiver or any visit directly through your account. Reports are reviewed, and a caregiver can be suspended from future bookings immediately while we look into it.
If someone is in danger
If you believe a crime has occurred or a senior is in immediate danger, call 911, or contact local law enforcement or Adult Protective Services right away.
For financial exploitation or fraud specifically, the National Elder Fraud Hotline can help directly: 1-833-372-8311.
We take this seriously because the people meant to help are, statistically, also the highest-risk group. That’s exactly why we built verification in from the start, instead of adding it after something goes wrong.
